We had a busy and a fun filled summer; here’s what we’ve been up to and what’s coming up:

• The first Men’s Ministry golf tournament was held on July 23 @ the Boundary Oaks golf course in Walnut Creek. We had about 30 players show up, had a lot of fun and fellowship, and the best news is we raised $700 for the Missions Ministry.
• Over 20 men went to the A’s baseball game on August 15th at the Oakland Coliseum. We had great food, lots of laughs and fellowship (too bad they lost).
• The Men’s ministry organized a hiking event at Mt. Diablo, led by Brad Briegleb, as well as a mountain biking outing at Mt. Diablo led by Ed Cleland.
• Our Men’s Breakfasts continue to meet the first Saturday of the month at the church office. If you haven’t joined us, come and see what you’re missing!
• Currently we are focusing our efforts on organizing the next Men’s Retreat scheduled for March 17-19, 2006 at beautiful Mission Springs in Santa Cruz.

God is definitely moving in this church; the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is very evident by the interest and involvement of our brothers in this ministry.

Lives are being touched and friendships are being formed through the brotherhood of our ministry. Our prayer is for every man at CCC to be a part of it! To get involved, find out more, or just to talk, e-mail me!
